FOOD REVIEW: Flora Indica, Earl’s Court in The LDN Social

“A Bengali malai monkfish and king prawn curry was one of the best we’ve ever tasted. The large king prawns were cooked to perfection, so juicy and tender they almost fell apart in the mouth. Slow-braised Suffolk lamb shoulder Rogan Josh was slow-cooked for 24 hours with a rich spiced flavour, perfect for a rainy day in April. Basmati rice was not an afterthought as it so often can be, served with a unique mix of Kaffir lime leaf and pistachios which worked so well you wonder why it doesn’t feature on more restaurant menus.”
